Their hit HBO show is full of blood and nudity, so it’s no wonder the stars of “True Blood” kept that motif consistent on the cover of Rolling Stone.
Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgard grace the front of the pop culture magazine covered in fake blood, dressed only in their birthday suits, though they lend each other a hand in covering up their naughty parts.
When asked what makes the whole vampire fad so appealing, Moyer offered a typical carnal response.
He explained, "If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn't one before. It's a de-virginization...creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there's something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that's pretty sexy. Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?"
