According to TMZ, the former "Simple Life" star - who was picked up for possession in Las Vegas on Friday (August 27) - claims to have let a gal pal borrow her bag without checking the contents upon getting it back.
A TMZ insider tells that Paris is telling friends, "I had no idea the cocaine was there. I swear on my life."
Miss Hilton allegedly added, "It could be a setup. Everyone knows how against cocaine I am."
