Winning “Dancing With the Stars” is a sure way to open the flood gates of opportunity, and Nicole Scherzinger has already landed an impressive role.
According to Gossip Cop, the former “Pussycat Dolls” leading lady will play Maureen in a Hollywood Bowl production of the musical directed by Neil Patrick Harris and co-stars Vanessa Hudgens as a stripper named Mimi.
Of the dancing darling, Harris told press, “Nicole had a wonderful audition — she was well prepared, sang beautifully, and had us all laughing.” And jokingly added, “If only she was somewhat attractive and didn’t have two left feet.”
There will be three performances of the show over the weekend of August 6.
