She’s been laid up in the hospital with malaria, and now it seems Cheryl Cole is dealing with an even more serious medical condition.
The Girls Aloud babe is reportedly suffering from fluid on her lungs, and along with her malaria complications that could spell trouble.
A hospital source told press, “I’ve seen Cheryl’s mum and Derek [Hough] in there. They stayed overnight last night. I overheard Derek on his phone saying she's got fluid on her lungs.”
And a friend of Cole added, “She has got fluid on the lungs. She's not good, no. She's still in intensive care so it doesn't look like she'll be out of hospital for a while yet.”
Hough is said to be really upset about the whole ordeal. A pal shared, “Derek feels it's all his fault. He organized the holiday [to Tanzania where Cheryl contracted malaria] as something wonderful. For it to end up like this is terrible. He feels dreadful.”
