Born in Jacksonville, Florida, on February 21, 1987, Ashley Greene moved to Los Angeles at the young age of 17 to pursue a modeling career. At 5'5", she was considered too short to be a runway model. She quickly developed a love of acting and appeared in such television shows as Punk’d (as one of the prankees) and Crossing Jordan.

Ashley Greene’s big break came in 2008 when she was cast in the film Twilight, acting alongside hottie Kristen Stewart and new teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson. The film is based on a popular series of novels by Stephenie Meyer, ensuring the movie would have a large audience upon its release. As expected, the movie did very well, and Ashley Greene has since secured several more roles.
In 2009, she appeared in Radio Free Albemuth, costarring Alanis Morissette, Skateland, the thriller Summer's Blood and the follow-up to Twilight, entitled New Moon. In 2010, she reprises her role in the Twilight saga for Eclipse. Also, look for her in 2010’s The Apparition, about a couple haunted by a supernatural being.
